Our Blue Pink Antique Floral greeting card is of an original design (ref 3050) drawn up in 1897 for the Jacquard furnishing fabric weaver, Vanoutryve, in Roubaix, France.
The original work has a stamp on the reverse with the name Bettrummiaux which we believe to be the name of the design company that drew up this beautifully detailed work. We also know that the technical point paper was used to cut a set of different weaves for the Mills (quality ref 3349) a few years later.
We know that the Mill used design studios in Paris, Tourcoing as well as their locally based textile design studios in the city of Roubaix.
