Our original Jacquard point paper of the design was sourced in Como, Italy and originated in a weaving Mill in eastern Germany. The original point paper (ref AH 3102) is estimated to have been drawn up between 1926 and 1935 to produce a Gobelin fabric. Where we have the information, a full history of the artwork, including where it was sourced from, who the designer was, the year it was produced, what the fabric was used for, and the mill that produced it, will be included in your order.
