Our original Jacquard point paper of the design (ref AH6997) was sourced in Como, Italy and originated from a weaving mill in eastern Germany. It is estimated that this design was drawn up between 1926 and 1935 and was part of a collection ‘discovered’ after the reunification of East and West Germany in 1989.
