O. Goethale Trees (ref 6243) was drawn up in July 1914 in Roubaix, France at Jacquard furnishing fabric weaver Vanoutryve.
The talented designer was O.Goethale who was responsible for numerous jacquard designs for the company prior to the outbreak of World War I.We were pleased to discover other work by the designer in the firm's archive, dating 1923, which was when they returned to work in the rebuilt factory after the war.
