Art Nouveau is a highly ornamental floral design that captures the essence of the Art Nouveau movement through its flowing lines, botanical stylisation, and carefully balanced symmetry. The pattern transforms natural forms into an elegant decorative framework, creating a composition that feels both structured and organic.
Originally painted in a Paris design studio for a weaver of high end jacquard furnishing fabric in France on 2nd October 1900. Hand written notations on this art made by the technicians when converting the design to point paper, part of the weaving process, add an extra delight to this period design.
