This work originates with the French weaver Bergerot of Cysoing. They commissioned the work with a Flemish design studio in the mid-1970s.
The original point paper has two panels, each with a design company stamp that is possibly ARTICAXARRERO. The artist is anonymous.
We believe the design was a special project, possibly a wall hanging, as the design is not a typical furnishing style. It is quite curious and very interesting
The point paper was acquired in 2017 when the factory in Cysoing was being renovated after the weaver had ceased trading a few years earlier.
